This is the number 5 mainly because of the price you can get your hands on one of these little puppies for around $230 and its well worth the money. With the iPod Video you can listen to your music and now even watch movies and videos in the palm of your hand. It of course has the Apple Click Wheel which everyone loves, you will of course still have to fight with iTunes but once you get used to it you will be cruising right along. This is a must have gadget for all of your multimedia needs, you get movies, music and pictures on a small portable device that is attractive and works well. I suggest anyone who buys the iPod Video upgrade their headphones immediately to some better quality ones. Overall the iPod Video comes in as the fifth pick in the tech gadget must have list.

One of the best tech gadgets you can get for the money, the sling box is a cheap way to get your cable broadcast to almost anywhere in the world. The sling box hooks up to your cable TV then you can view and control your cable via any PC that has a high-speed connection. This is a great gift idea for anyone who can't be without their TV and their favorite shows, now they can watch the game from almost anywhere. It has a great set of features for the more advanced photographers and easy point and shoot capabilities for the novice users. Sleek design and a huge LCD screen with easy to navigate menus make this a great camera for anyone, with a price tag ranging from $250-275 it's a nice camera for the money. The camera also boasts the dual lens technology that Kodak invented with a 3X optical zoom this camera is one of the best. This is a must have tech gadget and one that everyone in the family will love and use.

A reasonably priced laptop with plenty of multimedia capabilities and more than ample resources for heavy gaming, the Toshiba Satellite P105-S921 is a must have laptop and comes in at number 2 on the must have list. Why must you have this laptop? Well with a complete set of A/V controls, ports, and connections it makes it a great multimedia center and then they also made the laptop ready for gamers so its an all in one device. The most expensive device on the list with a price tag of $1,499 to $1,999 depending on configuration this is still a must have tech gadget for the tech junkie.

With its motion sensing Wiimote and awesome price ($250) the Wii is a must have for everyone. What makes the Wii so fun is that it doesn't matter your age, you will have fun playing the Wii. The Wii is affordable and fun, every one wants one and they have good reason to. The most fun console also allows you to logon to their Wii Store and download and play original Nintendo games like Zelda and Excite Bike, how can you not want a Wii.
